Reflections on geog AS

when i think wwaaayyy back to last year, i think of so much we went over that i dont know where to start. i supose the first thing that springs to mind is the population stuff on china, which, at the time was alot to take in but after reading up on notes and books and the interent it soon became more enjoyable to learn, and was actually quite interesting!!

i found it helpful to decide on a specific case study for the longer style questions, and to also break down these essays to sections and points to remember them more easily, as learning a whole essay is jst impossible!

if there was one thing in geography that i couldnt get my head round, it was the norfolk case study in relation to the central place theory- it jst did not match the hexagon shaped things-wel in my mind anyway.lol. i jst decided to learn enough to get me through incase a question came up, but was not too confident about it at all!

anyways, to end in a positive note.....erm....geographys pretty cool, coz its 'vaguely' to do with the world!!!lol (hannah you edjit!)

Paula,
some good reflection and comments. Some good tips for others to read and think about as well! Yeah - sometimes we find that it is hard to actually understand a case study until we are up to our eyes in it! But - always ask yourself this question when looking at a case study - why are we doing this case study? What is so special about it? What are the key points about this that make it unique!

And, yes that really was the quote of the year was it not . . . Geography is vaguely to do with the world! Pah!
